An example of a Child's Quilt. Quilts are wonderful gifts for children entering Foster Care. Experience has shown us that many children arrive at their Foster Home with very few things of their own. Over the years, the Pittsworth Women's Shed have provided hundreds of personalised items for Foster Children to have, and keep. Children in Foster Homes can enjoy having something special, something lovely, just for them. If they need to move out of that Foster Home, the Quilt is theirs to keep - it goes with them, becoming a 'touch stone' of comfort; wherever they go.
