Pittsworth Women's Shed: What an amazing place!

The members of the Pittsworth Women's Shed have been working hard, leading up to the Christmas Break; fulfilling Christmas Gift Orders.

Over the two days of the 2024 Craft and Fine Foods Spectacular, almost all of their various items were sold.

The Pittsworth Women's Shed is a registered Charity; relying on the generosity of local businesses and people who have left over material they no longer need.

Any money they do earn, goes back into buying more material and accessories for things to be made.

The Pittsworth Women's Shed is often a hive of activity; so many wonderful, carefully created comforting gifts are made each day. Each day is different; one day there might be a need for quilt squares, perhaps more premi-baby booties need to be knitted.

There is always a joyful, relaxed atmosphere at the Pittsworth Women's Shed.

Birthdays are always celebrated. When was the last time you had a birthday party, often with a home made birthday cake? I bet its probably been a while?

There is something special about being in a room full of women, smiling, joking; the sound of the occasional reassuring word.

Pittsworth Women's Shed is certainly a wonderful, warm, welcoming place to be.

The Pittsworth Women's Shed is open 9am to 1pm Monday, Wednesday and Thursday and is open Saturday mornings 9am to 12:00 lunchtime. We hope locals and visitors alike will drop in to say hello, enjoy a hot cuppa and a friendly chat. We're sure you will be pleasantly surprised.
